Wasp is the Word

June 2021 sees a new series of recordings from Conny Plankton - taking explorations with the Plankton Eurorack and many other devices into new and unexplored territories. Loosely based around the latest addition to the Eurorack - the Doepfer Wasp Filter, the recordings soon evolved into patching in lots of other devices, synths, loops and samples. The journey continues...

Infinite Number

The latest release from Conny Plankton sees a continually evolving exploration of working with a series of hardware and VST synths in and out of sync with a growing Eurorack system. Latest additions to the kit this time round, include the Plaits Macro Oscillator by Mutable Instruments and the Dreadbox Hysteria VCO – but of course everything can be reworked and resampled and re-patched into an infinite number of permutations.

Whurliegirkie

Whurliegirkie is the latest release of recordings from Conny Plankton. The title comes from an obscure Scottish phrase meaning "a Fanciful Tale", which seemed strangely appropriate: The recordings are based around experiments and explorations with an evolving Eurorack System. However, many extra devices, both modular and beyond, were soon fed and sampled into the sessions, resulting in the Whurliegirkie you have now have before you. Leave all your genres, labels and expectations behind and enter the World of the Whurliegirkie!

April and Easter and still in the throes of Lockdown form the Coronavirus. In the midst of it all is a new series of recordings from the warped mind of Conny Plankton – produced with a fledgling Eurorack system, hooked in and patched up to other choice goodies such as the Behringer Neutron and Crave Synths, the MC505 Groovebox, the Arturia Beatstep Pro Sequencer, and the Hive VST synth. A new form of madness and obsession here with a new video produced by Conny Plankton - using the Hyperspketiv app for IOS for its own brand of special effects. This one is unusual (yes, well...) in that it has been designed especially for watching vertically on mobile phones.
