October ov 2026 sees the release of a new series of recordings from Conny Plankton. Vaguely unified under a common theme of regular use of the VST Portal FX Fillter by Output (and an excellent FX filter it is too!), the final mixes are in the usual diversity of styles and approaches – stomping rhythmic onslaughts, atonal mindscrambling explorations, and sequencer led voyages. A whole bunch of different hardware was used, including the Neutron and Proton Desktop Synths, the Ambient Ø texture synth, the Roland S1-Tweak Synth, the MC505 and MC303 Grooveboxes, the Arturia Beatstep Pro Sequencer and the Nifty Eurorack. Software involved was Portal by Output, the TR-909 VST Drum Machine, and the Massive X, Filterscape, Hive, Repro-1 and Diva VST Synths. Stir it all together and add copious amount of midi loops, samples and field recordings, and there you go: Enjoy!
