Whurliegirkie is the latest release of recordings from Conny Plankton. The title comes from an obscure Scottish phrase meaning "a Fanciful Tale", which seemed strangely appropriate: The recordings are based around experiments and explorations with an evolving Eurorack System. However, many extra devices, both modular and beyond, were soon fed and sampled into the sessions, resulting in the Whurliegirkie you have now have before you. Leave all your genres, labels and expectations behind and enter the World of the Whurliegirkie!

April and Easter and still in the throes of Lockdown form the Coronavirus. In the midst of it all is a new series of recordings from the warped mind of Conny Plankton – produced with a fledgling Eurorack system, hooked in and patched up to other choice goodies such as the Behringer Neutron and Crave Synths, the MC505 Groovebox, the Arturia Beatstep Pro Sequencer, and the Hive VST synth.
